Server Features
Everything a survival server should do, done properly.
Land Claims
Mark two corners with a golden shovel and the land is yours, bedrock to sky. Nobody breaks in. Earn more claim blocks by playing, or buy them with emeralds.
Emerald Economy
Emeralds are the currency and they are physical. Deposit them at the bank, carry them as cheques, and settle up with other players however you like.
Player Shops
Place a chest, hit it with the item you want to trade, set a price. Your shop is open. The market belongs to players, not to admins.
Keep Your Items
Dying costs you experience, not your inventory. A bad fall is a setback, never a reason to quit the server.
Fly In Your Claim
Inside land you own you can fly, which makes building a pleasure. Step outside and survival rules apply again.
Homes & Warps
Set several homes, open your own public warp so others can visit, and send teleport requests to friends.
Smooth Sleep
Night passes in proportion to how many people are asleep, instead of the all-or-nothing vanilla rule that never works on a busy server.
Map Art Locking
Lock a finished map and it can never be overwritten or re-rendered. Your pixel art outlives everything, including you.
Quality Of Life
Sit on stairs and slabs, roll dice in chat, write and share books, mute anyone you would rather not hear from.
Why ruinscraft
Freedom, and a world that is actually permanent.
The map is never reset
No seasons. No wipes. No "fresh starts". What you build today will still be standing whenever you come back, and so will everything your neighbours built.
Build anywhere, however you want
No build height rules, no style police, no plot grid. Claim a spot and it is yours to do whatever you like with.
Multi-threaded server
We run Folia, which spreads the world across CPU cores instead of one. Busy farms and crowded spawns stop being everyone else's problem.
The world is already generated
Every chunk inside the border was generated before the server opened. Walking into new land does not stutter, because there is no new land to make.
Java and Bedrock, one world
Phone, console and desktop players share the same map, the same economy and the same chat. Nobody is on a separate server.
Vanilla mechanics, kept intact
Redstone, farms and mob behaviour work the way you expect. We fix what threading breaks, and otherwise stay out of the way.
Points Store
Premium currency for the things that take the longest to find.
Monster Spawners
Every spawner type, ready to place wherever you want it. Skip the dungeon hunt and get straight to building the farm.
Spawn Eggs
Any mob, on demand. Stock your farms, fill your zoo, or get the one animal that refuses to spawn in your biome.
Rare Items
Hard-to-reach and collectible items, with more added over time. Watch the shop — the selection changes.
Buying Points keeps this world running.

Questions & Answers
Still unsure about something? Ask us on Discord.
Will the world ever be reset?
No. A permanent world is the whole point of this server. The map was generated to its final size before we opened, so we never need to wipe it for space or performance. If we ever add another world it will be in addition to this one, never instead of it.
Can I play on Bedrock, phone or console?
Yes. Use play.ruinscraft.net on port 19132. Java and Bedrock players share one world, one economy and one chat.
Why are there several addresses?
ruinscraft.net is the main one and the only one you need to remember. play. and sg. reach the same server and are there for Bedrock, and for anyone whose network is fussy about short addresses. As we add servers in other regions they will get their own names.
How do I protect what I build?
Claim it. Type /getshovel, then right-click two opposite corners of the area you want. Everything inside is protected from bedrock to sky. Unclaimed builds are not protected, so claim first and build second.
What are Points?
Points are a premium currency you can buy, spent in /shop on things like monster spawners, spawn eggs and rare items. Regular play uses emeralds, and everything you need to build, trade and survive is earned in game. You can pick Points up at store.ruinscraft.net — they arrive in your account automatically.
How does the economy work?
Emeralds are the currency. Deposit them at the bank with /deposit and your balance is safe, or withdraw a cheque to carry value around. Players open their own chest shops and set their own prices — the market is genuinely player-run.
Do I lose my items when I die?
No. You keep your inventory and lose some experience instead.
Do I have to download a resource pack?
Yes, and it is small. It supplies the cheque texture and the menu artwork, without which parts of the interface would not read properly.
What happens to my base if I stop playing for a while?
Claimed land stays claimed and stays protected. We do not delete inactive players' claims.
Where do I report a bug or ask for help?
Discord is the fastest way to reach us. In game, /qa opens the rules and answers, and /handbook gives newcomers a guided start.
